Some great news for Moose Factory, and other remote Canadian communities- drone deliveries.
This project has full approvals and a contract for $2.5M. The drones will fly up to 5kgs across the river , to the island beginning this spring when the ice roads close for the season.
Side note: the departure point on the river is Moosonee,ON, setting of one or more books by one of my favorite Canadian authors: Joseph Boyden. Check out Three Day Road.
