Juste comme ca, the head cheeses of Canada, Mexico, and USA have signed the new free trade agreement. Though it still needs to be ratified (Canada and Mexico are not anticipating any difficulties; the US may have a tough time getting through a Democrat controlled House), all the legalese and formalities are done. Some may protest that $48B of punitive tariffs still exist between the 3 countries, but it\’s a step forward nonetheless.
I\’ve been a passenger so far, now I feel it\’s time to start digging into it and write a good little essay 🙂
