The Single Window Initiative (#SWI) will streamline documentation across CBSA and 9 participating government agencies.
Much like ACE (the USA’s single-window commercial entry system), SWI is part of a USA-Canada agreement to modernize data and documents flow between stakeholders. SWI will replace #PARS and RMD as part of a phased-in process that began January 1, 2019. The anticipated go-live date has been pushed back, and expected to be Fall 2019.
