Bullwhip Logistics is a Manitoba-based, full-service logistics provider designed for one specific purpose: to give independent businesses the professional reach and results of a major corporation, without the overhead.

We recognize a gap in the market. Small businesses rely on basic couriers, while giant corporations have in-house logistics departments. But what about the businesses in the middle? The growing manufacturers, the busy distributors, and the rural suppliers?

That is who we serve.

We have built an Ecosystem of Logistics that combines three core services under one roof:

  1. Local Fleet: A daily courier and freight network connecting Winnipeg and Eastern Manitoba.
  2. 3PL Freight Management:A North American brokerage handling complex cross-border shipping.
  3. Warehousing: A secure Winnipeg facility for flexible storage and fulfillment.

Whether you are shipping a single envelope to Ste. Anne or a full truckload to Texas, Bullwhip Logistics provides one point of contact, one invoice, and total peace of mind.

2017: The Foundation Bullwhip was established in 2017 by Philip Redekopp. It began as a solo operation—a side-hustle born out of a passion for efficiency. Working from a laptop, Philip focused on brokering truckload freight for local businesses that were being ignored by the big logistics giants. The philosophy was simple: pick up the phone, tell the truth, and find a solution.

The Growth Years As our reputation for reliability grew, so did our client list. Our customers began asking for more than just freight brokering; they needed someone to handle their local deliveries and store their inventory. We realized that our customers didn’t just need a broker; they needed a partner. We expanded our team, invested in state-of-the-art Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and began building our own local fleet.

2025: Honoring a Legacy (The Eastman Acquisition) In March of this year, we marked a major milestone in our company’s history by acquiring Eastman Courier. James, the owner of Eastman, was a fixture in Eastern Manitoba, known for his unwavering reliability and daily service. Upon his retirement, he entrusted his routes and his customers to us.

We are proud to carry that torch. Today, Bullwhip Logistics combines the legacy of Eastman’s daily rural dedication with the modern technology and warehousing capabilities of the Bullwhip network.

To act as the invisible engine behind our customers’ success. We strive to simplify the complex world of logistics by providing transparent, reliable, and technology-driven solutions that allow independent businesses to compete on a global scale.

To build the most trusted and integrated logistics ecosystem in Manitoba, bridging the gap between the rural business community and the global marketplace.

Philip Redekopp

Phil has spent over 25 years navigating the complexities of the transportation industry. He founded Bullwhip with a singular design philosophy, inspired by a client who once told him: "Just make it easy." That simple sentiment hit home, and it became the blueprint for how Bullwhip serves its partners today.

Passionate about the intersection of logistics, ecommerce, and the Winnipeg business community, Phil is always focused on the "forward-looking stuff"—finding new ways to help local businesses grow.
Off the Clock: When he isn’t building the dream, Phil is a dedicated dad to his elementary-aged son. You can usually find him lifting heavy in the gym, biking through the city, or enjoying good food and drink with good people. He is also a die-hard Formula 1 fan (but please, don’t ask him about NASCAR).
